The Crosstrek features the 2.0L 4-cylinder SUBARU BOXER® engine that's mated to a 6-speed manual transmission with the option to swap it out for the Lineartronic® CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission). This engine lies flat under the hood and gets its power from the horizontally opposed valves, which, in turn, help power the Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system.
The engine boasts 152 horsepower and 145 lb-ft of torque. It's also able to achieve an EPA-estimated 28 city/33 highway MPG.1 Thanks to those numbers, you can rely on your Crosstrek to deliver the perfect balance of potent performance and environmentally minded efficiency.

The Subaru Crosstrek is able to accommodate five passengers between two rows of seating with its 100.9 cubic feet of cabin space. The front row offers 39.8 inches of headroom and 43.1 inches of legroom. The rear-seat passengers get 38 inches of headroom and 36.5 inches of legroom.
The Crosstrek was designed for adventure and offers plenty of space for your backpacks and climbing gear. There's 20.8 cubic feet of cargo space in back, and when you fold the rear seats flat, there's 55.3 cubic feet of cargo space. That way, you can bring along some extra luggage for your family’s next road trip.

Your cabin is your command center. For instance, the STARLINK® Multimedia system comes with a 6.5-inch touchscreen display. From the screen, you can select your media options or use Bluetooth® to stream audio or place calls. Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ allow you to select your compatible smartphone's features from the screen.
The 2022 Crosstrek also comes with Subaru EyeSight®, a suite of advanced driver-assisting systems. With its array of exterior sensors and cameras, these safety features can measure the speed of the Crosstrek and its distance from other vehicles on the road. Â
- Subaru EyeSight® comes with the following systems:Â
- Pre-Collision Braking SystemÂ
- Pre-Collision Throttle ManagementÂ
- Lane Departure and Sway WarningÂ
- Advanced Adaptive Cruise Control with Lane CenteringÂ
